I am a Connecticut transplant by way of New York, North Carolina, and Washington, D.C. By day, I work as an archivist managing the Maurice Sendak collection at the University of Connecticut.
By night and hours between, personal projects and interests occupy my time and are the focus and purpose of this space. This site formerly featured a gallery of my work as an illuminator and included paintings made of gold and silver leaf. It is now breathing a new life.
You may see glimpses of embroidery, book reviews, crafts of all kinds, recipes, and poetry. Some painting may peep in here and there. Stay tuned!
My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
